Prestigious Nomination for German Design Award

Richter Studios recently had one of its award-winning films nominated by the prestigious German Design Council for Excellent Communications Design. The promotional film for the British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park was nominated in the “Audiovisual” category for the German Design Award 2018. Winners of either the Gold, Silver or Special Mention distinction will be announced in August 2017 and presented in early 2018 at Ambiente (International Consumer Goods Fair) in Frankfurt, Germany. The nomination further highlights Richter Studios’ reputation as a leader in the vibrant Chicago video production scene and around the world.

“Having the BISC Lincoln Park film win in Cannes and now being nominated for the German Design Award 2018 is a tremendous accomplishment by the creative team at Richter Studios,” stated CEO Jeremy Richter. “The German Design Council is recognized as a worldwide leader in design and it is a great honor to be nominated for this year’s competition.”

The award-winning film featured students, parents and faculty, and was shot over three days in Lincoln Park (a neighborhood in the heart of Chicago). All footage was captured with a Canon EOS C500 4K Cinema Camera. The finished film can be viewed below.
