Nonprofit Video Production
The Art of Giving Back
Richter Studios is a Chicago video production company that takes great pride in being known for the exceptional art our creatives produce through video, animation and photography. Equally important to us is the art of giving back. Not everyone has a robust marketing budget for creative marketing initiatives — some have very little. For decades, Richter Studios has been a video creation company that has produced award-winning films for a variety of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or causes which strive to make a difference in their communities and the world.
If you are a nonprofit, we understand that budgets are tight. Every dollar counts and we’re familiar with the additional layers of review and approval that come with initiatives that are powered by grants, donations and similar funds. That’s why when we commit to a nonprofit video production, or a production where we are donating pro bon creative services to, we stick to the budget. Equally important, when we take on a nonprofit video production, we aim high. We want the good you are spreading in the world to be matched by our commitment to outstanding creative. This is evidenced through our success winning awards for cinematic excellence at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards, the Deauville Green Awards and the German Design Awards. The majority of awards we have won at these prestigious events were for video productions that we donated partial or full pro bono creative services.
The films featured below were either for a nonprofit organization, or were a production that was partially — or fully — produced through the donation of creative services by Richter Studios.

From the scriptwriting to the cinematography, the creative team really hit a home run.
“Working with Richter Studios on my documentary production was a truly wonderful experience. From the scriptwriting to the cinematography, the creative team really hit a home run. It is now over a decade since we created this two-hour masterpiece and we continue to have theatrical showings. We preserved the stories of individuals who are no longer with us and it has been amazing to see the film continue to attract new audiences. I am also very proud that the film received the coveted ‘G’ rating by the Motion Picture Association of America. This happened because of the great care Richter Studios put into this outstanding film.”
