As part of a campaign to educate the public about genetic testing, Northshore University HealthSystem desired a healthcare animation to explain its benefits and address concerns about patient privacy. Genetic information includes family health history, results of genetic tests, genetic counseling reports, and participation in genetic research. With the passage of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) in 2008, patients are protected from genetic discrimination from most health insurers and employers. Our motion graphics studio worked closely with NorthShore to develop an explainer video to provide an overview about GINA.

Health is a very personal matter and being educated about your privacy rights is critical. Our Chicago animation studio sought to develop a healthcare animation that was visually engaging and easy to follow. As part of this production, we provided scriptwriting, storyboarding, voice-over casting and 2D animation services. In the spirit of delivering an informative and straightforward video, traditional 2D animation was the best creative execution to pursue. All animation was developed utilizing Adobe Illustrator and After Affects.
