Richter Studios Wins Award For Trump Tower Video
Platinum Honor Received By Hermes Creative Awards
CHICAGO, IL---August 6th, 2009---In recognition for its recent efforts creating a video for Bovis Lend Lease and the Trump Organization, Richter Studios has been awarded with a Hermes Platinum Award. As part of the initiative to raise awareness about the concept of phased occupancy, Richter Studios was hired by Bovis Lend Lease to create a video about the construction of Trump Tower in Chicago.
"Chicago is one of the most amazing cities on earth and to be able to create a video that captures the essence of its gorgeous skyline is something we're very proud about," stated Richter Studios Co-Founder Jeremy Richter. "Filming from on top of the Trump Tower is a remarkable accomplishment and few firms can claim this incredible feat."
As part of the effort, the crew at Richter Studios shot from on top of one of the cranes situated above the 92 story building. Cinematographer Marcel Morin climbed one of the tower cranes and shot the amazing footage with a Panasonic HDX900 Camera.
The effort was part of a larger video project to illustrate the benefits of phased occupancy, which allows tenants to occupy lower floors of a structure while upper floors are still being constructed. Richter Studios filmed numerous city officials and representatives from the Trump Organization, Bovis Lend Lease and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture.

Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies.
